My left and right incisor teeth are pegs. My dentist wants to place porcelain veneers over the canines and my center four teeth. The cost for all four teeth is a little more than $5000. I did not consider porcelain veneers as an option, so I asked my dentist about bonding. She says that bonding is 1/5 the cost of veneers, but it will not last, and the color will probably be off from my natural teeth. My dentist says that I would need to keep replacing the bonding anyway, so it is best to get porcelain veneers and pay for them over time. Is bonding really that bad? It was my first option.
